BUSINESS STRATEGY

What to bring to a marketing review

Prepare the offer, customer journey and sales context before asking which channel to change.

1. Choose one offer and customer

Explain the main product or service, who purchases it and why. Bring the typical price and the proof you can show. A focused brief is easier to assess than improving every product in every country at once.

2. Map the current journey

List where customers discover you and where they go next: a store, page, call, message or quotation. Include who receives the response. Marketing needs to be reviewed alongside that follow-up.

3. Use a consistent period

Gather campaign spend, website activity, enquiries and orders over comparable dates. Note promotions, stock shortages and tracking changes. Record missing information instead of guessing.

4. Explain commercial limits

Share available margin information, fulfilment capacity and the budget you can commit. Interest is only useful when the business can serve it economically.

5. Ask for a decision

Leave with priorities, owners, measures and a 30-day action plan. Confirm which recommendations need more information and what a separate implementation project would include.
